come by (visit) - wpaść do kogoś, zajrzeć.
come by (to acquire, to gain, to get, to win) - uzyskać, zdobyć, dojść do czegoś.
come by sth (to be gained, to be acquired, to be won) - zostać zdobytym, zostać osiągniętym.
